As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related issues.
• Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the assigned area to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behavior.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with store staff and/or management as needed to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
