As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Assignment in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. At a busy retail location, Allied Universal officers conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This unarmed driving post includes mobile patrol responsibilities, so a valid driver’s license is required. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate store leadership and/or emergency personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for suspicious behavior, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
- Support access control and loss prevention efforts by monitoring restricted areas, documenting incidents, and communicating clearly with store personnel, visitors, and/or first responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
