As a Security Officer Concierge Desk in Warrendale, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific policies, front desk procedures, and security-related protocols at the location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access through access control and sign-in procedures.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as needed.
- Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support front desk operations while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns within the facility.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, communicate clearly with employees and/or first responders, and follow post orders for alarms, evacuations, and other site needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
