As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform armed and driving patrol responsibilities, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role combines customer service, communication, and professionalism in a caring culture built on teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity, offering a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact each day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, restricted areas, and the exterior perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor information, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry and protect sensitive areas.
- Maintain a visible armed presence and remain prepared to respond to security-related situations, policy violations, and/or emergency conditions while following Allied Universal standards and post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
