Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a College Campus in Roxbury MA
Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM
Starting Pay is $21.30 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training
As a Security Officer in Roxbury Crossing, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift, working with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational campus environment.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.
- Monitor access points and observe student, staff, visitor, and vendor activity, offering directions and assistance while following location protocols for entry, identification, and/or visitor management.
- Support campus operations during classes, events, and after-hours periods by communicating with administrators and/or first responders as needed and helping to address security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
