As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Duty in Yorktown, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hospitality location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support guests and staff with professionalism while reflecting our caring culture, teamwork, integrity, and agile, reliable, innovative approach each day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
- Respond to guest, visitor, and/or staff concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, courteous, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and activity across the location, document observations, and report security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues according to site procedures.
- Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating professionally with guests, visitors, staff, and/or first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
