Security Guard – Patrol Site Security

As a Security Professional – Patrol Site Security in Mc Kees Rocks, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for everyone onsite. Your presence and attention to detail help to deter security-related incidents, while your approachable manner enables you to provide outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and support visitors or staff as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge management experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
