Vice President, Enterprise Accounts - Operations

Allied Universal® is hiring a Vice President, Enterprise Accounts - Operations. The Vice President, Enterprise Accounts - Operations is responsible for the provision of a global security program for a multinational technology and e-commerce company with the objective of providing direction and leadership for contracted services including guarding, patrol services, and other security solutions. The Vice President oversees operations and is also responsible for client service, problem resolution, and service delivery, continuous improvement, and any additional services. While the client may be US-based, overall operations may extend globally.

Pay Rate: $110,000-$125,000 per year

This postion requires candidate to work in the Alexandria, VA area at client corporate headquarters weekly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure Allied Universal® operations are performing in accordance with all contract requirements, including compliance audits, KPI management and customer interactions
  • Initiate, coordinate, and assume responsibility for benchmarking against best-in-class programs; build and facilitate teamwork and partnerships and the implementation of efficiency and continuous improvements
  • Coach, manage, lead and mentor assigned Enterprise Accounts Portfolio Managers, providing continuous support and guidance to effectively mitigate any issues that arise and ensure contract compliance
  • Perpetuate and amplify Allied Universal’s brand as the leading security and facility services company with cutting edge technology and tailored solutions through effective needs assessments, relationship building and the delivery of customized solutions
  • Coordinate travel effectively to optimize client meetings, industry events and conferences
  • Coordinate and/or perform security threat assessments of client facilities using authorized assessment tools to effectively balance risk and cost, seeking efficiencies where appropriate
  • Implement monthly and quarterly contractually agreed key performance indicators to measure and enhance security team effectiveness and performance; ensure that account administration and tactical effectiveness metrics are at optimum levels
  • Provide enterprise account management and oversight for the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, development and retention of high caliber managers and staff; plans, assigns, and directs work; provide performance feedback, coach associates, and ensure disciplinary actions, as necessary; support staff as appropriate in carrying out their respective responsibilities
  • Manage client safety programs and drive safety culture throughout the organization
  • Provides direct management of account management teams
  • Coordinate with client to support special events or emergency coverage
  • Coordinate interagency development of Business Continuity Plans and Emergency Response procedures
  • Initiate contract compliance initiatives and implement corrective actions in a timely manner
  • Respond to client concerns that cannot be satisfactorily resolved at the regional level and ensure resolution to the satisfaction of our client
  • Collect best practices related to administrative and/or operational processes and disseminate these to all operations supporting client’s facilities
  • Provide advice and counsel to operations on operational, account, administrative matters, policy, and procedure, as required, with a view towards standardizing processes, where possible
  • Selection, placement, career development of those under his/her direct supervision
  • Establish cross functional business relationships to ensure the full suite of services available are made available to the customer

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Business, or related field of study
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of management experience in the security industry with a combination of account management, customer service, operations, technology solutions and integration services
  • Experience collaborating at the highest levels of large customer organizations
  • Strategic thinking skills with a proven track record in driving operational excellence and leading direct and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrating a successful track record of positioning the company's brand effectively throughout local communities and national associations
  • Demonstrated initiative, adept at handling multiple assignments, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
  • Committed to delivering high-quality customer service, building client relationships, upholding integrity, and delivering continuous financial results
  • Proficient In web-based applications and computer systems Including Microsoft Office and (BI) Business Intelligence tools for metrics analysis, reporting, and presentations
  • Collaborative and engaged leader that has proven success with all levels of the organization to identify, analyze, and solve problems for continuous improvement
  • Subject matter expert within the security industry with comprehensive knowledge of business practices and challenges
  • Strong financial, oral, and written interpersonal communication skills to respond to high profile rebid opportunities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Business or related field of study
  • Law enforcement and/or military experience
