Security Professional - Armed - Financial Patrol

As a Security Professional - Armed - Financial Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Security Officer in a financial institution setting, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. This role involves conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. This position requires an armed designation, ensuring you are prepared to handle any situation that may arise. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred but not required.
• Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred but not required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
