Security Officer - Industrial Site

As a Security Officer - Industrial Site in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remaining visible and approachable to assist with any inquiries or concerns. This position is unarmed and does not require driving, but experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Pay Rate: $27.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security experience.
• CA Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possess a Guard Card/License; this is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
