Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Entry Monitoring Job in Atlanta, Georgia

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Entry Monitoring in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required daily activity logs in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
