As a Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Registration in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will greet visitors, manage access control, monitor alarm systems, and provide outstanding customer service. You will help maintain a professional, welcoming environment while supporting security-related procedures and communicating clearly with staff and guests. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a front desk location within a financial institution, following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
- Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
- Monitor access to the facility, manage incoming calls and deliveries, and direct guests to appropriate personnel or designated areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Maintain awareness of activity at the front desk and surrounding entry areas to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
