You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with guests and team members, and respond to alarms and concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate hotel personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, lobbies, corridors, parking facilities, entrances, and the surrounding property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and report security-related concerns to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Two or more years of security-related experience are required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
