Security Officer Credential Services Job in Boise, Idaho

As a Security Officer Credential Services in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage visitor and badge access, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for visitors and contractors, issue and collect credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access records.
- Assist with controlling access to construction-related work areas, offices, equipment areas, and restricted technology locations in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
