Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Retail Location in Quincy MA
Wednesday- Sunday 100 PM - 800 PM
Starting Pay is $19.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training
As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Screener at a retail location, you will help create a welcoming environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Screen individuals and belongings entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures, reporting prohibited items or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
- Maintain accurate screening logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned retail areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
