Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Job in Buffalo, New York

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Skills in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, offices, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-related irregularities.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
