As a Security Officer - Overnight - Full Time in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to shoppers, tenants, and staff. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to store associates, customers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas to help support a welcoming environment and help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
- Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
