Security Guard Full Time Hospital Customer Service Job in Cleveland, Ohio

As a Security Guard Full Time Hospital Customer Service in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while responding to situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as directed, and providing directions or escorts to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
