Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, storefront corridors, and perimeter access points, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or disruptions within the location.
- Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, assisting with crowd flow during busy periods, and providing directions and general assistance to the public.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
