As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with exceptional customer service. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-control records.
- Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, communicate entry requirements, and direct authorized personnel and deliveries to designated areas.
- Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
