As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.
- Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
