As a Security Officer Driver Incident Reporting in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and support operations through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, process areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
- Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
