Security Officer Hospital Driving Patrol Role

As a Security Officer Hospital Driving Patrol Role in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with visitor directions, and help to support orderly movement throughout the location.
- Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in a clear and timely manner, following Allied Universal and location protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hospital vaccination requirements apply.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
