Armed Security Officer - Cleared

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Security Clearance Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and site protocols. This armed and driving post offers the chance to serve in a mission-driven environment while delivering trusted communication, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or access control concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors, and help to deter unauthorized access within a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
- Carry and maintain assigned armed post equipment in accordance with site procedures, Allied Universal policies, and applicable laws, while remaining prepared to respond to security-related events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
