Security Officer Entry Screening

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Dawn, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, monitor activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while delivering strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at an industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, maintain accurate access logs, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around designated access areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or unauthorized entry attempts.
- Assist with controlling vehicle, delivery, and contractor access by confirming approvals, directing arrivals to appropriate check-in points, and communicating site procedures clearly and professionally.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
