In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Each LEO will possess the following minimum qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS):
To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
- 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)
- Valid Driver's License
- Law Enforcement Officer License
- 22+ years of age
Basic Qualifications: The basic qualifications listed below are representative of the relevant knowledge, skills, and/or experience required in order to be hired. These are requirements that we have determined are the minimum a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role.
Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
Applicant must complete one of the following approved programs:
- 1. Certified State law enforcement recruit training.
- 2. Certified County law enforcement recruit training.
- 3. Federal law enforcement training.
- 4. Programs approved by the Director.
- 5. Each LEO will possess the following minimum qualifications:
- No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings (referring to the decisions in Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 105 (1972) and United States v. Henthorn, 931 F. 2d 29 (9th Cir. 1991)).
*A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Must be able to supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.

- Shall have no record of moral turpitude, domestic violence, untruthfulness, or mental or emotional disorders which may interfere with performance of duties.
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or authorizations in accordance with site-specific procedures and government location requirements.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear reports, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
