As a Security Officer Armed Reception Driver Security Clearance in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as a front desk professional in an armed and driving post, serving as a welcoming presence while monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related concerns. In this stationary role, you will help to deter incidents through strong communication, professionalism, and attention to detail, while supporting daily operations with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor check-in processes, and supporting access control activities at a government location.
- Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
- Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation related to security-related activities and daily operations.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and the public while supporting security-related procedures, directions, and reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
