As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Full Time Building Campus in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and maintaining accurate logs as required.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in clear written reports while following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
