Security Patrol Driver Shopping Center Job in Irvine, California

As a Security Officer Patrol DriverShopping Center in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a retail and mall location, you will drive patrol routes, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with visitors and tenants, respond to concerns, document activity, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, residents, tenants, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout retail, neighborhood, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, parking areas, common areas, and exterior spaces; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
