Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Patrol Job in Jacksonville, Florida

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and transportation-related operations by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of rail facilities, yards, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized entry, and potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and vehicle or pedestrian activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by reporting observed concerns, policy violations, and infrastructure issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
