As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for individuals, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values through teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, staff, and program participants while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for incidents, observations, and patrols, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
