Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coverage Job in Lancaster, Ohio

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report concerns promptly. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial construction location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, active work areas, access points, perimeter, parking areas, and/or material storage areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, or security-related concerns.
- Monitor and control access to designated areas by checking credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and maintaining required activity logs.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in clear, accurate reports while maintaining a professional presence in varying indoor and outdoor working conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
