You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate areas as needed.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
