Security Officer Armed Patrol Job in Little Rock, Arkansas

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol an emergency healthcare location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist staff, visitors, and patients with professionalism and care. This role calls for strong communication, sound judgment, and integrity while working as part of a reliable, agile team dedicated to a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a hospital setting.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, badge verification, and direction-giving while maintaining a professional and respectful presence.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and first responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a current Certified Protection Officer certification.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
