As a Armed Security Officer Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $29.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day	Time
Mon	02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Tue	02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Sat	06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
Sun	06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable laws, site procedures, and armed post requirements.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document activities and incidents, and report concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency services.
Maintain required qualifications and follow Allied Universal policies for the responsible handling, storage, and use of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
