Security Guard Unarmed Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Security Guard Unarmed in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel or resort location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to guest and visitor needs, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
- Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, amenities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with hotel or resort staff, guests, and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
