Security Officer Dispatch Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatcher at a financial institution location, you will monitor alarm activity, coordinate security-related communications, document incidents, and support timely responses to emerging situations. You will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining clear communication with onsite personnel and partners. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
- Monitor incoming calls, alarms, cameras, access control systems, and other dispatch communications; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter when assigned, reporting observed security-related concerns for follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
