Security Officer Full Time Reception Information Desk Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Information Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity through computer or tablet-based systems, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a professional, visible presence while communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and building teams to help maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Monitor building access, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials as appropriate, and maintain accurate visitor logs and related records.
- Receive, document, and direct inquiries, deliveries, service requests, and/or calls to the appropriate building personnel or departments.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, and security-related communications, reporting unusual activity or concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
