Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Retail Patrol Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Retail Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing guests, deliveries, and/or service personnel in accordance with site policies.
- Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
