Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol Job in Manassas, Virginia

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Verification in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate clearly with site personnel. Our agile, reliable, innovative team puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, access points, and common spaces, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and document visitor access, contractor activity, deliveries, and other site activity in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
