Security Officer Spanish Patrol Job in Montclair, California

As a Security Officer Spanish Patrol in Montclair, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol a grocery retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support loss prevention efforts, assist customers and team members, and communicate clearly in Spanish and English. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the grocery store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy concerns; document and communicate incidents according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Support a welcoming retail environment by providing directions, assisting with access control, and maintaining detailed activity and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
