What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
- Screen employees, guests, and deliveries at designated access points by checking credentials, monitoring entry activity, and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and established reporting protocols.
- Monitor lobbies, entrances, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting maintenance concerns, unsecured areas, and other unusual conditions that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
