Security Officer Reception Concierge

As a Security Officer Reception Concierge in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional at a leading financial institution location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, monitor activity, and respond to security-related needs with professionalism and care. In this highly visible role, you will help to support a smooth, professional environment while delivering great customer service and communication through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and security-related protocols at the front desk of a financial institution location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and visitor credentials, and assist with sign-in processes in support of security-related standards and location policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Answer questions, provide directions, and support front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation.
- Complete logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to daily activity, visitor management, and security-related events at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
