As a Security Officer Full Time Welcome Desk in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff while serving as a professional, approachable point of contact for security-related assistance. You will help maintain controlled access, observe activity, communicate concerns, and support a calm, welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide a professional, welcoming front desk presence for patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at a healthcare location.
- Verify visitor access in accordance with site-specific policies, maintain visitor records, and direct individuals to appropriate hospital areas.
- Monitor access points, respond to security-related alarms or incidents, and notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Provide customer service by answering questions, offering directions, and assisting with wayfinding while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Respond to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and complete required incident reports and related documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
