Security Officer Full Time Hospital Reception Job in Orlando, Florida

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Reception in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming presence for patients, visitors, and staff while supporting a secure environment. You will manage access, respond to inquiries, monitor activity, and communicate professionally to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Manage the front desk area by greeting and directing visitors, verifying access authorization, and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems, reporting unusual activity or facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
- Assist with communications, documentation, and coordination with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Hold CPR certification, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
