As a Security Officer Visitor Check In Coordinator in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting visitors, and supporting a professional atmosphere at a financial services location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site protocols.
- Answer questions, manage sign-in processes, issue visitor directions, and communicate clearly with employees, guests, and vendors regarding front desk expectations.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Support access control and other security-related administrative tasks, including documenting daily activity, maintaining accurate logs, and relaying important information during shift changes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
