As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Responder in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring culture that puts people first while working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in daily security-related responsibilities.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with branch personnel, law enforcement, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
- Support opening, closing, and after-hours security-related activities, including checking doors, lighting, and high-value areas, while maintaining awareness of site-specific procedures and emergency protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
