Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Foot Patrol Job in Rancho Cordova, California

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Loss Prevention in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with Allied Universal teammates. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, business perimeter, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports for deliveries, incidents, and other security-related activities.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
