Security Officer Reception Clearance Required

As a Security Officer Reception Clearance Required in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, access control practices, and site-specific front desk policies at the location.
- Monitor the front desk area, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to manage sign-in activities for guests, deliveries, and scheduled appointments.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Answer phones, assist with directions and general questions, and help to support a professional lobby environment within a fast-paced aerospace and defense location.
- Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation related to access activity, incidents, and/or front desk observations in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
