Security Officer - Shopping Complex Patrol Driving Role

As a Security Officer - Shopping Complex Patrol Driving Role in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring team culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, stairwells, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assist with access control and visitor interactions, and report maintenance, lighting, and other property-related issues observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
